Why Ramsa?
Some stories begin with a cup of tea. Ours began with a journey.
RAMSA is not where our tea story began. It is where decades of that story finally came together.
After more than two decades in manufacturing, we began to see a gap.
Tea had become familiar to everyone, yet the story behind it had become distant. Consumers knew the brands on the shelf, but often didn't know which garden their tea came from, who grew it, or what made it different.
We wanted to bring that connection back.
RAMSA was created to take tea closer to its source—to let people experience the character of a real tea garden rather than simply a familiar brand name.
Our teas come from Shantipur Tea Estate in Charaideo, Assam, and our focus is simple: authenticity, traceability and the character of the garden.
We don't want to hide where our tea comes from.
RAMSA is our way of opening the doors of our garden and sharing what we have spent generations learning.
We want you to know where your tea comes from.
One garden. One origin. One story.
The Women Behind the Garden
The workers are the heart of a tea estate.
Especially the women who have spent years, much of their lives—among the tea bushes, knowing the garden through an experience that cannot simply be taught from a book.
Day after day, season after season, whether through scorching heat or pouring rain, they return to the garden. Their hands carefully select the leaves, one by one, with a skill built through years of experience.
Their work may begin early, but its impact travels from the garden to every stage of making the tea, and finally into your cup.
Behind every leaf we make into tea are the hands of the women who care for our garden.
A place that explains the taste.
Near the foothills of Assam, where the Brahmaputra valley breathes monsoon into the soil, Shantipur sits among the country's most storied tea gardens.
Fertile loam. Abundant rainfall. Warm days, cool nights. These are not marketing words; they are the four reasons an Assam leaf tastes the way it does.
